Luxe Gold and Large Blooms - Amy and Ashley's Super Stylish Summer Wedding

Hi all,

Today I am bringing you a wedding that I have been wanting to get up on the blog for a while but for one reason or another I just haven't got around to it.  So today is the day!  This wedding really shows you what we mean when we talk about 'Luxe'.  This is a word we have been using quite a lot lately and you can absolutely see why it's such a popular trend from the pictures below.  Amy and Ashley got married back in August last year at the Woodland Hotel Leeds.

One of the first things that Amy said to us was that she loves flowers (music to our ears!) and that she particularly liked large open blooms.  The colour pallet that we had to work with was soft blushes with rich warm golds with the design of the bouquet being very wild and unstructured with plenty of foliage.  T went for large bloom roses including vendella, sweet avalanche, David Austin 'Kiera' and 'Patience'.  Other flowers and foliage included in the design were pale pink astilbe, lisianthus, wax flower, eucalyptus, green bell and jasmine trails.

The couple chose a simple but very beautiful bouquet of pink astilbe for their bridesmaids with a super cute floral crown for the flower girl.  Buttonholes were a simple focal design with corsages for the ladies.

Again the venue flowers were the epitome of 'Luxe' with large open blooms and simple style.

Massive thanks to Shelly at Toast of Leeds for letting us have these gorgeous photographs which were also featured on Whimsical Wedding Wonderland blog.

Thanks for reading
